Place Of Birth: Whiston

When Jacqui first met Paul at a party in St. Helens in 1991, she was at Sixth Form College retaking her 'O' Levels. Paul was impressed by her singing voice and when Briana left the band in 1993, tracked her down to try and recruit her into the band. At the time she was earning £1.75 an hour in a Greengrocers, and gladly accepted his offer. She fitted in well; her voice, although very different to Briana's, still had a unique quality that matched the band's sound. She unfortunately left the band after Painting It Red, her fourth album with them, for reasons that have never been made entirely clear.
Although rumours of a bust up between Jacqui and Paul were rife after her departure, a more likely explanation is she wanted to spend more time with her husband and two children. As far as I know this is exactly what she has been doing, and there have been no plans as yet for any further musical work.
